Position Available:
ACT Team Leader (Assertive Community Treatment) Description:
The ACT Team Leader is responsible for the clinical and administrative supervision of the ACT team.
The team leader provides a combination of clinical, case management, leadership, supervision, program evaluation and Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) services to establish, support, continuously improve and maintain a high-performing, high-fidelity ACT Team serving adults with serious and persistent mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders in support of each person's individual recovery journey.
The ACT Team Leader functions as a practicing behavioral health clinician on the team.
SeaView is the premier provider of Behavioral Health services for the Eastern Kenai Peninsula, serving as the Community Behavioral Health Clinic and offering key programs in both Mental Health and Substance Use.
SeaView works diligently every day to expand access and utilization of behavioral health services with the goal of improving the mental health status of our community and decreasing substance misuse.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for planning, organizing, leading, evaluating and staffing the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team including the development of policies, procedures and practices that support high ACT model program fidelity.
Ensure ACT team is operating to consistently improve and maintain fidelity to the ACT model, including Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI), preparation for fidelity assessments and adherence to State of Alaska/DHSS/DBH Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program standards.
Develop and foster the ACT team core competencies.
Coordination, oversight, participation in and delivery of required ACT training.
Oversight of clinical service delivery to ensure team is utilizing evidence-based services and practices.
Coordination with the BH Director to ensure all required data is being collected, reported, and reviewed, is accurate and that all required reports are submitted in a timely manner.
Facilitate the work on the ACT stakeholder advisory group including persons served, key community stakeholders, family members.
Assist in establishing and meeting productivity, census, and revenue goal.
Complete performance evaluations of supervisees in a timely manner.
Arranges for professional development training on clinical, documentation, billing, or related issues for direct service staff.
Attend and participate in clinical leadership meetings.
For clients within ACT Program, conduct intakes and assessments, oversee treatment and treatment plan development and progress for each client, conduct individual therapy, case management and support services, timely completion of discharge and clinical summaries.
Prepares required clinical documentation with required time frames.

Ability to accurately diagnose consistent with the DSM-V, to prepare and implement treatment plans.
Ability to work effectively as a team leader.
Ability to work independently, use sound clinical judgment and handle stressful situations.
Licensure/Certification:
LCSW, LPC, LMSW or LMFT preferred; valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record and CPR/First Aid Certification.
Other:
TB test, pre-employment drug/alcohol screening, criminal background check.
