Removes existing corrosion and lead based paint by means of pneumatic tools, cleans surface, applies RG\-2400 corrosion gel and stabilizing geo wrap, installs protective sheet metal jacketing\.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Cleans grease and dirt from products
+ Removes lead paint and rust from pipe surfaces with pneumatic tools
+ Assists in water wash duties of pipelines as required
+ Applies masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated\.
+ Installs Geo Tec gel stabilizing wrap and plastic spacers
+ Fabricates sheet metal jacketing for pipelines and pipeline fittings\.
+ Installs fabricated sheet metal jacketing on pipelines
+ Immediately report all Incidents/Accidents, no matter how small, to their Supervisor\.
+ This position has no supervisory responsibilities\.
+ Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit?s success also may be assigned\.
Minimum Requirements
+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent\.
+ Minimum three \(3\) years directly related experience required\.
+ Previous North Slope experience required\.
+ Alaska Painters Certification required\.
+ Must pass all pre\-employment contract requirements which may include but are not limited to: hair follicle drug test, physical and fit for duty assessment and hearing test\. Applicants not located near a testing facility are responsible for paying for travel to the nearest testing facility\.
+ Driver?s License and an acceptable driving record for the past three \(3\) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy\.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
